Join First Fellowship Charlotte at the 2019 Charlotte Walk to Defeat ALS

Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Symphony Park

Please make plans to join First Fellowship Charlotte on Saturday, May 4, 2019 for the 2019 Walk to Defeat ALS. We will walk together as a team as part of the larger effort to find a cure for ALS as well as to raise money to assist in the care of those persons suffering from ALS. The average annual costs of caring for a person suffering from ALS is $125,000.00 per year. As a church body, we want the victims and families of ALS to know that the Lord loves them and that it is His will that we find a viable cure for this horrible debilitating disease.

Check-in for this annual walk shall begin at 9:00 a.m. The walk itself shall begin at 10:00 a.m. The walk shall be held at Symphony Park at South Park Mall (4400 Sharon Road; Charlotte, NC). Church participants are asked to wear your blue church golf shirts. If anyone doesn't have a church golf shirt and needs to purchase on before May 4, 2019, you may do so. The costs of the golf shirts is $15.00 per shirt. We look forward to making a difference with you in the lives of those affected by ALS.

Leadership Development Seminar

First Saturday of Each Month - 12:00 Noon

By default, every Christian is a leader. The Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19 - 20 compels all Christians to go throughout the entire earth making disciples of everyone we encounter and baptizing these persons in the name of God, our Father, Jesus Christ, His Son and the blessed Holy Spirit. We Christians are leaders by virtue of this commandment to make new disciples. In an effort to improve our leadership skills, First Fellowship Charlotte holds a monthly leadership seminar. Working from the principle that leaders are made and not born, we seek to uncover those leadership principles and practices that enable us to lead effectively, efficiently and efficaciously. Persons DO NOT have to hold recognized leadership positions within the church to take advantage of this ministry opportunity. All Christians are welcomed to participate in these monthly leadership seminars. Please make attending our Leadership Development Seminars a part of your monthly calendar.
